Why not? Not meant to be snarky at all, but the rules and re-rules, and re-re-rules have actually got me pretty confused as to acceptable contract lengths for FAs, extensions, and prospects.

The minimum year requirement (under 34) was removed.
I will try to get the rules pages updated tonight so they are all consistent with the updates.
I know some of the bugs related to free agency and the changes that have been posted are frustrating, but I think after this first offseason we should be in pretty good shape.

Salaries updated through Alcides Escobar signing.
Dudex3/Jason:
I don't have priveleges to move threads to completed on this board. If you want to grant me admin/global mod or whatever I'm happy to help w/ the maintenance as much as I can.

I think that the salary on the page was after Darvish. He did just trade Hernandez's salary for no salary... He has to have room.

All- please don't post anything but bids in each bidding thread. Posting an extra "this bid wins" post throws off the timestamp sorting that makes tracking which bids have stood for 24 hours easy at a glance. I'm going through and removing extraneous posts now.
Thanks in advance, this will make tracking and updating the bidding much easier

I am more than shocked at the Pena bidding. You guys could have saved $5 by taking him with your last pick.

Personally, I totally forgot he was still there, but he's not worth more than $4 IMO anyways.

I forgot he was there, and also never got a back up for Goldshmidt. I sort of need him more. lol

I would love to say I'm shocked, as well, at the Pena bidding, but it seems I've accidentally bought myself a Grant Balfour whom I don't recall wanting, ever, so I'll just keep my damn fool mouth shut,

Because you may need cap space later on?
