That's false. Many players do.

What do you want me to do??? Draft players like Halladay who will barely be in the league when they're 28?? Jeez...

Fielder set a career high in HR's at 23. Pujols' OPS+ at 23 is higher than the rest of his career. Sizemore posted the highest WAR total of his career at 23. Three examples in about 5 minutes of looking. There are countless examples. To say nobody peaks at 23 is wrong. To say the average player rarely peaks at 23 holds more water.

Nah, dude, I'm thrilled, it means you'll eventually have to not re-sign them or buy out their contracts, leaving me to swoop in with a big canvas bag of money with $$$s on it. I'm just giving you a hard time...I was gunning for Stras in the 3rd round on a 4 year contract.

Okay I overexagerated a bit. I shouldve said "I dont think kershaw has peaked since the average player doesnt peak at 23."

I AM minding my own team! I already had Strasburg written down as my 3rd round pick! You've gone and monkeywrenched my whole team already!

You don't win a fantasy league, unless you make great picks. And picks that end up being great tend to look like risks. If Stanton continues to improve and eventually hit 50 HRs, which is realistic, then that was a great pick. And Strasburg, in my opinion, is the pitcher with the highest upside.

I love the players that you've picked. I would love to have both of them (and I will when you can't afford them anymore! ), I'm just ribbing ya, dude. I hope Robert gets his git on, I've got wings, whiskey, and Football Jesus vs. Sexy Rexy on the slate in a few minutes.

Agreed. It's better to take some one too earlier than wait to long. No one values a player the same as another person.
