Just which site you would enjoy having the league on. They all seem pretty similar from what I've heard.

I definitely prefer Yahoo!, ESPN's layout really sucks, IMO. But I'll definitely play on ESPN if that's the consensus.

The reason I chose ESPN is because everyone says Yahoo's point system sucks. More important than layout IMO

Not sure how the point system varies from league to league.

I can't stand ESPN's layout and user interface. It's horrendous. I prefer CBS, then Yahoo, and will grudgingly deal with ESPN and probably bitch and moan about it ad nauseum.

Haha... we couldn't have more opposite feeling about ESPN, Yahoo, and CBS.

I STRONGLY vote for CBS, espcially since this league has minors.

How does the minors system change with CBS?

Important point re: minor league player pools for each site. I think we pretty much have to go with the site that has the broadest prospect pool available. Although CBS does allow commissioners to create players (in name only). One year, after a particularly rough patch of multiple Tommy John surgeries to my team, I added Dr. James Andrews to my roster.

Only done Yahoo! so I can only comment on how they do it. There is a huge amount of prospects available in the free agent pool, consisting of both guys that will make the majors during the season and players that won't. If they are making the majors in the upcoming season, there's a great chance they are in the prospect pool. I will not allow write in adds as that just becomes incredibly complicated.

Never played on CBS, so honestly curious. Does CBS cost money to run on their site?

Yeah, it's $180 for a customizable commissioner league. Any of these 3 is going to cost us to customize the settings to our league rules, no?

ESPN and yahoo offer free leagues where you can customize the stats etc. for free. There is no host site that would handle all of our prospects/salaries etc. smoothly.
That stuff is going to have to be handled here on the proboards site and managing a team in this league will require checking both sites frequently in season.
