All trades run through a league votes system, however, it will be run a little differently than most standard leagues. All trades will be posted on the proboards website to be voted on. Take a look at the sample example posted to get an idea of how it should be done. This is done for a variety of reasons:
1) We can keep an accurate records of past trades.
2) We can see who is voting on these trades, to make sure that everyone remains active.
3) People are able to explain their reasoning behind a trade being voted against. This will stop managers from anonymously voting against a trade so that their competition does not get an advantage.
All players, draft picks, and prospects are trade able.
Important Note
When voting a trade, remember to vote on whether or not the trade is free of collusion.
DO NOT veto trades on the basis that you would not make the trade, as other managers may have different views than you. With this in mind, there should be very few vetoed trades over the course of the league. This process is simply to stop collusion between managers.

I agree with the fact that there should be almost no vetoes. I hate leagues that veto trades because it might be slightly one-sided. Often it may not look fair, but the teams need help in different areas, and sometimes may be looking at players a different way.
I don't feel like collusion will be too much of a problem in this league. Hope all trades run smoothly!

Trading and Salary: in the Felix trade, I thought about this, but just assumed it was extra-legal, so didn't propose it, but, just to be 100% clear, can we trade players with contract money as a variable? Like, if the Angels had insisted on including Arenado in the prospect package, could I have asked that they retain a certain fraction of Felix's contract under their cap? I mean, it's as easy to keep track of as all salary info is, and it makes trading that much more interesting, so I don't see really why not, but I'm also OK with keeping everything as simple as possible.
