As noted previously in the draft thread, the MILB Draft Clock will pause for the holiday period. Here are the details:
- The clock will officially stop at 9:00 AM PST (12:00 PM EST) on Wednesday, 11/20/2012. - Any team on the clock at that time will not be subject to the 24 hour rule until the clock restarts. - Any team on the clock MAY make their selection when it is their turn, but the draft will not advance to the next team unless a selection is made. - The clock will officially restart at 9:00 AM PST (12:00 PM EST) on Monday, 11-26-2012. The team on the clock at that time will have 24 hours to post their pick, and the draft clock will work as it does currently from then until the next holiday freeze period.
This is done to help alleviate team owners from having to try and make picks while also accomplishing things related to the holiday. While I believe it possible for many owners to find a small amount of time to make their selection, I also believe that owners should not be concerned with making their pick during this holiday period.
Any questions should be directed to me on this. This will also be sent as a PM or email to every manager as notification as well.
