We could round contracts up to the nearest quarter million since minimum bid increases are .25MM. That way all contracts would still end in .00, .25, .50, .75

Yup, makes sense, Scott want to write up an example so everyone can see what we're talking about ?

Example:
You extend a $6.50 contract for two extra years at 20% extra AAV. (10% per year of extension x 2 years)
20% of $6.50 is $1.30
$6.50 plus $1.30 is $7.80 which would round up to $8. We always round up.

This all sounds pretty good so far guys. Answered all my questions which is perfect. Thanks for the help.
The last thing regarding salaries we need to worry about is how we will keep track of all of this. We could just have each manager keep track in their own proboards sections that I have created for everyone. Would be relying on the honour system with random spot checks now and then to keep everyone honest.

I think we should have a section appointed just for all the teams's finances and number of players kinda thing .
Example
GM- Team CAP MLB Roster MiLB Roster Rocky - Miami Marlins $104 21/26 10/15
That way we have a place where all the finances can be accessed, also underneath each team's section should be a transaction page listing, their specific trades, Resigns, promotions, demotions.
This transaction page should be under their section but a master Transaction page should also be present, in a separate section altogether that consists of all of the teams, trades, resigns, promotions, demotions.

One last note on re-signing/extensions:
I propose the option to extend the $1/6 year Minor league draft contract for 50% the annual salary of the top paid player at that position for up to 3 years once the $1/6 year deal expires.
Example: you have Julio Teheran and want to re-sign him once his deal expires. If Roy Halladay is the top paid SP at $20 per year you could re-sign Teheran at $10 for up to three more years.

Could do that. I'll need some serious help to maintain that though seeing as I have 25 hours of class + assignments/studying this year.

I'll attempt to throw all these posts together into one solid section for the league rules section. Would appreciate if one or both of you could look that over to make sure I got it all right since you guys seem to be the experts on salaries here.

Although I just realized the length of the draft does not match up with the amount of players we are allowed on our roster. We may need to modify the pricing strategy for the original draft or change the salary cap amount to fit all these players.

Connor, 20 rounds is a good amount of picks to have, that way the max roster is 26 so you can allow for MiLB call ups, and adding players via free agency. Otherwise you have to buy out players of place them on waivers to get them off your team, doesn't make to much sense to have 25 rounds of picks. But if you'd really like I'm sure we could add the rounds.
